The Delmarva Pet Garden at Parsons Cemetery will hold its annual Blessing of the Animals event on October 12th at 2PM. The Very Reverend David Michaud will provide the blessing. Everyone is invited to bring pets of any kind for the blessing. We do ask that they be well controlled.The Pet Garden is the only facility of its kind on the Eastern Shore. We provide a place to respectfully inter the ashes of your beloved pets and remember them through engraved bricks or individual engraved niche plates.
The Pet Garden, in partnership with Holloway Pet Cremation Servies, has donated services and engravings for several animals known by thousands at the Salisbury Zoo.
Parsons Cemetery welcomes many dog walkers each day to enjoy the beauty of the grounds while exercising their pets on safe, easily walkable roads.
