🐾 Blessing of the Animals at St. Andrew UMC 🐾
Join us on Sunday, October 4, as we celebrate God’s creation and give thanks for the beloved companions who bring joy, comfort, and unconditional love into our lives!
📅 Date: Sunday, October 4
⏰ Time: 5:00 PM
📍 Location: St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Marietta
⏳ Length: A brief, family-friendly 30-minute service
Our pastor will share a short message of thanksgiving and offer an individual blessing for every animal present. Whether your companion barks, purrs, hops, or chirps, all are welcome!
For the comfort and safety of all two- and four-legged guests:
🐕 Dogs must remain on a secure leash at all times.
🐈 Cats must be kept in a secure travel carrier.
🦎Other small pets must be safely contained in an appropriate cage, tank, or carrier.
📷 Have a pet who is shy, anxious in crowds, or has passed away? You are warmly invited to bring a printed photo or a favorite stuffed animal to receive a blessing in their honor.
Invite your neighbors, bring the whole family, and come celebrate the wonder of God's creatures with us! 🐶🐱🐰
