Join us for a unique journey of personal reflection and collective calm. Experience a one-of-a-kind, immersive meditation room designed by animator Christen Smith, where art and mindfulness meet. Surrounded by mesmerizing hand-drawn animations, you'll be invited to contribute your own presence to the space through guided reflections.

Born from the artist’s confrontation with grief, the animation transforms the Fight, Flight, and Freeze responses into mysterious landmarks of an oasis where respite is possible, and the isolation of private emotions is lifted.

This project is made possible in part with public funds from the Queens Arts Fund, a re-grant program supported by New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by New York Foundation for the Arts.
