About this Event
Kirsty Harmon started her Virginia wine career as an apprentice of historic Virginia winemaker - Gabriele Rausse. After earning an Oenology degree from UC Davis, the most prestigious program in the United States, she worked internationally in Burgundy and New Zealand before returning home to Virginia where she took on the role of Head Winemaker at Blenheim Vineyards in 2008. At Blenheim, she takes a vineyard-first approach to winemaking, letting the grapes speak for themselves with minimal intervention for clean, terroir-driven styles.
Blenheim is a 32 acre sustainable vineyard in the Monticello American Viticultural Area just south of Charlottesville owned by famous musician, Dave Matthews! Their wines are some of our favorite pure expressions of this historic region.
To welcome Kirsty the right way, we will be pouring a selection of Blenheim Vineyards at your discretion for 2 hours! That's right, this is an all-you-can-safely-drink event! Your ticket gets unlimited pours of five Blenheim wines poured by Kirsty, herself, with elevated snacks from our chef Tony Chittum including house dips, seasonal vegetable crudité, and seasonal arancini.
