Get ready to pedal your way to peak health at our upcoming Green Smoothie Workshop, an interactive experience that blends nutrition science with high-energy fun. Participants will dive deep into the world of phytochemicals, learning how the bioactive compounds in leafy greens and vibrant produce fight inflammation and boost immunity. The highlight of the session features our custom blender bike, where attendees will use pedal power to mix their own creations, transforming raw ingredients into delicious, nutrient-dense fuel. From mastering recipe development to understanding the synergy of plant-based ingredients, guests will leave with the skills—and the "leg work"—to revolutionize their daily wellness routine. Class will be held at the Currituck Extension office from 10am-12pm on April 21st, 2026. This class is suitable for all adults, no experience or athletic ability required! 

Sign up today! We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco, NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
