Healthcare for women and people of marginalised genders in the UK is in crisis, underfunded and undervalued, with many waiting decades for diagnoses and treatment of common conditions such as endometriosis. Bleeding Out explores artistic responses to medical misogyny and the disparities of knowledge, treatment, understanding and compassion in gynaecological and reproductive healthcare. Creativity blooms as an antidote and a rebellion. This exhibition is a message of hope for a better future.
