About this Event
Join us for a casual night of open curling and outdoor socializing. Use this time to meet your fellow BLCC curlers and find teammates as we dust off the brooms and stretch our curling muscles to kick off the 2024-2025 season.
Your ticket gets you access to 1.5 hrs of ice time however this is not a night for full games. Rather sheets, teams, playing an end, skills & drills, etc. will be organized on the fly at the event.
For those relatively new to curling or the club and planning to play in the leagues this year, this is the perfect chance to meet potential future teammates! And if you're a returning club member it's a great way to reconnect with your teammates and fill in any open spots on your team.
This event is only open to returning Brooklyn Lakeside Curling Club members, and anyone who has taken a BLCC Try Curling/Learn to Curl class, or has one year of prior curling experience.
Never Curled Before? - As mentioned, this open house event is not open to those who have never curled before. Instead, please sign up for one of the Try Curling events (some of which are running at the same time as this event) which are suitable for those who have never curled before.
All player slots are first come first served. Please note that our events often sell out quickly.
