Get ready for a high flying two days of rocket launches at the Blast Off Bash, a celebration of creativity, engineering, and pure launch day excitement!
Here’s how it works:
Register ahead of time to pick up your rocket kit, build it at home, and come ready to launch… OR grab a kit on site and build your rocket right at the event, with help from the Challenger staff!
Whether you're a first time flyer or a seasoned rocketeer, this is your chance to send your creation skyward and be part of an unforgettable launch experience.

Our Rocket of Choice
Get ready for liftoff with the Estes Cosmic Ray Rocket Kit. This beginner-friendly model rocket is designed to make STEM learning fun and accessible. With its easy snap-together assembly, colorful teal and gold design, and real parachute recovery system, the Cosmic Ray gives future engineers and astronauts the chance to explore the science of aerodynamics, propulsion, and flight while watching their rockets soar hundreds of feet into the sky.
