Join any of these guided offerings, created by our Education team to enhance your museum experience.
10:30am & 11:30am - Look & Listen Storytime
1:30pm - Looking Together
PLUS: 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. – Bracelet Making with Sea of Beads – Join in a stretch bracelet making activity, facilitated by Sea of Beads.
5–6 pm: Printmaking Demo with Artemio Rodríguez – Artist Artemio Rodriguez will showcase a live demonstration of his linocut printmaking technique.
2pm: Curator's Choice: Learn more about Zoot Suit by Ignacio Gomez with Claudia Zapata, Associate Curator, Latino Art, Blanton Museum of Art, who will discuss the symbolism behind this iconic look.
4pm: Hear from exhibiting artist Artemio Rodríguez, discussing his work and that of José Guadalupe Posada (1852–1913), considered the father of modern Mexican printmaking. Followed by printmaking demo at 5pm.
MUSIC
3pm & 6pm: Enjoy live performances by Austin artist Mélat.
FOOD & DRINK
