Blanilla is a Romanian DJ and producer with two decades of experience in the electronic music scene. Known for seamlessly blending breakbeat, UK Garage, 2-step, drum & bass, and house, he has played hundreds of gigs across Romania and beyond, from intimate club nights to massive festivals. Blanilla's productions have been released on iconic labels like Sound Of Habib, VIM Records, Ego Shot, and Distinctive Records. In 2015, his edit of Disclosure's "Defeated No More" earned a nomination for Best Free Track at the Breakspoll Awards.
During the pandemic, he founded Ruffinaments, a label dedicated to pushing the sounds of UK Garage, breaks, drum & bass, and house, further solidifying his role as a tastemaker in the scene.

Shimi - co-founder of the Made from Scratch crew and part of the Ruffinaments crew - has been rocking decks since 2008. Starting from Sfântu Gheorghe, he’s played across Romania in cities like Cluj, Bucharest, Timișoara, Iași, Brașov, and Sibiu, as well as major festivals including Electric Castle, Untold, Durusa, Peninsula, FanFest, and SnowRide. Over the years, he has shared the stage with names like Mobb Deep, Jeru the Damaja, Dope DOD, Wilkinson, Stanton Warriors, JFB, and many more. Rooted in old-school rap, his sets flow with intensity, shifting from hip-hop to funk, house, UKG, and drum’n’bass, always adapting to the crowd and energy.
