East Durham Parade & Golf Cart Contest
Join the excitement as our seasonal campers deck out their golf carts in red, white, and blue and follow the haywagon down to the annual East Durham Parade. Don’t forget to get creative—prizes are awarded for the best-decorated carts!
Frog-Catching Contest
A Blackthorne favorite! On Saturday morning, stop by the tiki bar to grab a bucket and head to the creek for our famous frog-catching contest. Prizes are awarded for the most frogs caught, the longest jump, and more—it’s a blast for kids and adults alike!
Fireworks Display
Cap off your weekend with a spectacular fireworks show, best viewed from the pavilion and pool area. This show is free and open to the public, so bring your friends and enjoy the celebration! Fireworks will be Saturday July 4th - at dark!
Live Entertainment All Weekend
Enjoy live music and entertainment both at the main bar and tiki bar every night of the weekend.
