For Ages 8-Adult: Join our visiting poets to learn about Blackout Poetry—and create some of your own!April is National Poetry Month! Blackout Poetry is about creating a piece of art—not by writing words on an empty page, but by eliminating words from a full one.
Poets Dina Klarisse and Ellie Lopez are leading a fun workshop they call “Word Alchemy: Transforming Text into Blackout Poetry.” All supplies will be provided for this special hands-on project.
This free event received partial funding support from the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
