Blackheath Society: Walk & Talk, The changing face of Leicester Square
About this Event
Join Blackheath Society members led by Jonathan Causer to visit a very varied but small area of London. It was once royal (over-dressed courtiers) but now famed for Chinese food (under-dressed ducks), with exotically dressed poules. In between it was well known to Shakespeare, Newton, Sarah Bernhardt, boxing, duelling and 5000 yards of noodles.
Meet at 10.15 by the statue of Shakespere in the centre of Leicester Square.
This event is for Blackheath Society Members only. If you would like to become a member and would like to join us please visit our website www.blackheath.org.
