In 2026, Blackburn Road Runners turns 40 — and we’re celebrating properly with a TICKET ONLY event. Join past and present members, friends, and supporters as we come together to mark four decades of running, friendship, and club pride. From first races to lifelong friendships, muddy trail runs to marathon PBs, this is a celebration of everything that has made Blackburn Road Runners what it is today.
The celebration will take place on Sunday 14th June, 12–6pm, at the Riley Green tipis for an afternoon of laughter, catching up, reminiscing, and raising a glass to the miles we’ve shared — with more details on food, entertainment, and special touches to be announced in the coming weeks.
Expect familiar faces, forgotten photos, tales that improve with age, and the comforting knowledge that someone, somewhere, will still be talking about “that one race”
Whether you joined last week or back when cotton tees were considered “technical,” 👀 this day is for you.
