As thousands gather in Chicago for Black Yacht Weekend, we’re creating space to show up for the city in a meaningful way.

The Black Yacht Foundation Beach Cleanup is focused on:

• Preserving Chicago’s lakefront
• Promoting water safety awareness
• Creating a positive community impact

Whether you're visiting or local, this is your opportunity to be part of something bigger than the party.

• Organized beach cleanup across designated zones
• Gloves and trash bags provided
• Water and light refreshments available
• Community networking and group photo
• Water safety resources and education

• Please arrive on time for check-in and instructions
• Wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activity
• Closed-toe shoes recommended
• Sunscreen and hydration encouraged

All attendees must check in upon arrival to receive cleanup supplies and zone assignments.

• This is a free, RSVP-required event
• All participants must follow onsite instructions and safety guidelines
• This event is hosted on public park property
