Black Writers Weekend Chicago is HERE — and we're taking over Da Book Joint!
One day. One iconic literary destination. An unforgettable celebration of Black storytelling, Black authors, and Black creativity — all in the heart of Chicago. This is not your average book event. This is a full cultural experience, and every hour brings something new.

Get up close with your favorite authors! Javon B., Candace Green, Heather 'Byrd', Haseena Shaheed-Jackson, Candice Evans, and Jay Jones will be signing books live. Bring your copies, bring your receipts — this is your moment with the authors who move you.

Author Meet & Greet
The conversation doesn't stop at the signing table. Mingle, connect, and build real relationships with the authors and creatives in the room. This is community in real life.
