Black Women's Health Hackathon

The Black Women’s Health Hackathon 🖤✨ is a collaborative innovation event focused on advancing equitable health outcomes for Black women by addressing gaps in access 🏥, education 📚, and care 🩺.

Four teams of three 👩🏾‍💻👩🏿‍🔬👩🏽‍🎓 will develop and pitch community-centered 🤝🏾 and technology-focused 💡 solutions addressing four real-world health challenges impacting Black women. Winners 🏆 will be selected by a panel of three judges, with audience input 🗳️ contributing to the final decision.

The event brings together participants, professionals, and partners 🌍 to increase awareness 📢, share knowledge 🧠, and equip Black women with practical tools 🛠️ and resources 📦 to support informed health advocacy 🗣️ for themselves and their communities 🏘️.

While centred on the experiences of Black women, the hackathon is inclusive and open to audiences of all backgrounds. By strengthening health equity ⚖️ for Black women, sponsors and participants alike contribute to innovation 🚀 that benefits women’s health 💕, community wellbeing 🌿, and the healthcare ecosystem 🏥 as a whole.
