About this Event

BSAFE (Black Secure Attachment for Empowerment) is a workshop series that walks Black caregivers through building or repairing secure, healthy relationships with their children, stage by stage, from before birth through the launch into adulthood.

Adolescence and Launching

During this stage, our children begin to reach for their own identity and independence, and that shift asks something new of us as parents. This workshop explores how to adjust our parenting as our children come into who they are and prepare to stand on their own, while staying rooted in connection through the process. Useful whether your child is approaching those years, in the middle of them, or has already grown into adulthood.

  • 5:30 pm Dinner and Networking and 6 pm - 8 pm Workshop
  • Child care will be provided
