Considéré par La Vague Parallèle comme "le groupe le plus magnétique de Suisse, qui sort de ses montagnes natales pour répandre à travers l’Europe sa musique crépitante et son spleen miraculeux", Black Sea Dahu est le projet mené par la chanteuse et autrice-compositrice suisse Janine Cathrein. Le groupe déploie un univers profondément introspectif, entre folk, pop orchestrale et rock atmosphérique. Leur prochain album Everything (sortie prévue en février 2026) puise dans les épreuves personnelles et les bouleversements du monde pour livrer des chansons d’une sincérité rare, traversées par le deuil et la résilience. Sur scène, Black Sea Dahu transforme chaque concert en une expérience intime et singulière.

Black Sea Dahu wordt door La Vague Parallèle beschouwd als ‘de meest magnetische band van Zwitersland, die uit zijn geboortestreek komt om zijn sprankelende muziek en wonderbaarlijke melancholie door heel Europa te verspreiden’. Het is een project van de Zwitserse zangeres en songwriter Janine Cahtrein. De band creëert een diep introspectieve wereld, tussen folk, orkestrale pop en atmosferische rock.
Hun volgende album ‘Everything’, dat verwacht wordt in februari 2026, put uit persoonlijke beproevingen en wereldwijde omwentelingen om nummers te brengen die getuigen van een zeldzame oprechtheid, doordrongen van rouw en veerkracht. Op het podium maakt Black Sea Dahu van elk concert een intieme en unieke ervaring.
