Event details
The Barony of the Bridge invites you to the 47th Annual Black Rose Ball! Join us for a day of dance, music, and fellowship celebrating the social traditions of the Society for Creative Anachronism.
This year's theme, Carnevale Masques, is inspired by the historic Carnival of Venice. Bring your favorite mask and festive attire for an evening of elegance and revelry!
Throughout the day, attendees can participate in instruction and practice in period and period-inspired social dancing, culminating in an evening ball featuring live music by the Waytes of Carolingia. Dancers of all experience levels are welcome, from first-time participants to seasoned revelers.
The event is open to the public, and SCA membership is not required. Non-member registration fees apply.
Participants are encouraged to wear their finest pre-17th-century attire, whether formal or festive. Loaner garb will be available for those who need it.
