Black Rose - A tribute to Thin LizzyFormed in Edinburgh way back in the 1990’s, Black Rose have a long history of performing the music of Thin Lizzy in venues across Scotland and overseas with one of the band's highlights being headlining both the Bash for Philo, and the Vibe for Philo in Dublin.
Black Rose are old enough to remember seeing Lizzy 'Live & Dangerous’ on many occasions. From the very start Black Rose have focused on recreating the feel of the Lizzy live set and bringing the music to existing and new fans alike. From the opening chords of Jailbreak through to the Celtic rock of Emerald, the slow blues of Still in Love With You to the final ringing notes of Black Rose, the band continue to pay tribute to the music of arguably the best rock band to come out of Eire. Close your eyes and think of Lizzy!!
