About this Event
Calling All Creative Souls~
You're invited to Black River Thursdays – a music, poetry and storytelling event presented by Black River Life.
- Live Acoustic Band
- Open Mic & Storytelling for Liberation
- Featured Artist Performance by Julian Davis
Julian Davis is a self-taught chromatic harmonica player who has been making music since the age of six. Inspired early on by Stevie Wonder and later introduced to jazz harmonica legend Toots Thielemans as a teenager, Julian developed a deep appreciation for jazz, improvisation, and soulful storytelling through music.
His sound moves across genres and styles, shaped by years of listening, learning, and playing from the heart. In addition to harmonica, Julian also sings and brings a warm, versatile presence to every performance. Be sure to catch him at this month's Black River Thursday and follow him on Instagram at @jdavi_s1990.
