About this Event
BPF is literary celebration created to center Black voices, honor Black literary traditions, and strengthen community through poetry. Bringing together poets, creatives, business owners, and curators. The festival creates space for artistic expression, intentional connection, and unity.
More than an event, BPF is a growing movement committed to ensuring that Black poets are heard, supported, and celebrated.

Info: Registration is required for ALL youth. Complete registration at theblackpoetsfest.com. Young Black Voices is a free youth experience. This event is designed to empower Black youth through writing, spoken word, creative expression, and entrepreneurship.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a writing workshop facilitated by professional poets, connect with other young creatives, perform poetry, hear from inspiring speakers, and celebrate the power of their voices in a supportive and uplifting environment.
