Welcome to Black Mystical Musings' Kickback! Join us to celebrate Hoodoo Heritage Month with a Show and Tell. We'll dive into the mystical traditions that have sustained us by sharing practices that keep us grounded. Feel free to bring any tool, ritual, prayer or affirmation that is most sacred to you. This in-person event promises to be a night filled with deep conversation, shared experiences, and maybe even a touch of the supernatural. During the month of October, we observe Hoodoo Heritage. These practices and rituals have sustained black folks from the middle passage, through slavery, reconstruction, the great migration and every civil rights movement.They are the remenants of African Traditional Teligions that our ancestors brought with them, and survived the assimilation of protestant christiatnity by being seen as "superstition". Because of determined hoodoos like Mama Rue and Walking Dikenga (the founders), we now have a whole month dedicated to celebrating our spiritual heritage.

Black Mystical Musings cultivates safe sacred space for black and brown spiritual folx of all paths with the goal to come together to build community, commune and kick it. Meet with other Mystics. Seance with other Spiritualists. Werk with other Witches. And hold it down with other Hoodoos.
