Atmospheric waves of huge fabric masses and an ethereal dance of light and shadow on the orchestra await in this bold, one-off theatrical concert experience. In a brand new collaboration for Omaha, visionary interdisciplinary artist Doug Fitch is turning the Holland Center into another world.
You’ll hear the cinematic moments of Don Juan through the violin virtuosity of concertmaster Susanna Perry Gilmore and the pastoral sweetness of The Lark Ascending before we unveil Doug Fitch’s unthinkable sculpture accompaniment to Britten’s Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes.
