About this Event
Join Everything Angelique Estella and Netmixx Social Events at Akoma Oakland, the Bay’s premiere Black-owned entheogenic church, for another powerful installment of Black Love: Acts of Revolution — an intimate evening of soulful sounds, spoken word, and deep conversation centered on healing, connection, and community.
This month’s theme is Boundaries: Navigating the Next Season — exploring how we honor ourselves through the cold months, navigate loneliness, and protect our energy during the holiday season and beyond. Whether it’s setting boundaries with family, relationships, or within your own evolution, this event invites you to pause, reflect, and reclaim your peace.
We’re honored to welcome Aswad Aarif, author of The Black Love Revolutionary’s Handbook, for an engaging conversation diving deeper into the principles of revolutionary love, healthy connection, and self-work in the Black community. Through open dialogue, poetry, and reflection, we’ll explore how to set boundaries that allow us to grow and love freely.
💚 Special thanks to @akomaoakland, a pioneering Black-led sacred space, for providing a home for community healing, connection — and those fire Magic Mocktails!
