Celebrate Black history and culture at the City of Mesquite’s Black History Month Commemorative Program on Saturday, February 21. This special event features student performances, inspiring speeches, and a complimentary brunch. The keynote presentation, Still Standing: A Legacy of Black Resilience, will be delivered by Courtney Brazile of Dallas College.The program will take place at Dallas College – Eastfield Campus, Building B, located at 3737 Motley Drive. Check-in and brunch will begin at 10:45 a.m., and the program starts at 11:00 a.m.
