Black History Month Movie Night - Six Triple Eight

Join the DeSoto Teen Council for an inspiring evening as we celebrate Black History Month with a special screening of the powerful film Six Triple Eight. Admission is open to teenagers in grades 8 through 12.

The Six Triple Eight tells the remarkable story of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the first and only all-Black, all-female unit to serve overseas during World War II. Their determination and courage not only broke barriers but also ensured vital communications reached soldiers and their families.

Come enjoy the movie, connect with the community, and honor the legacy of these trailblazing women.
