#FAMUNews 📰 Tallahassee, Fla. – Florida A&M University (FAMU) announces a Black History Month Fireside Conversation with alumnus and television host Roy Wood Jr., on Monday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. in Lee Hall Auditorium. The event will be moderated by FAMU Interim President Timothy L. Beard, Ph.D., and Vice President of Marketing and Communications Alonda Thomas, Ph.D.Wood Jr. recently released a new comedy special on Hulu titled, Lonely Flowers, and he is the host of CNN’s Have I Got News for You, an American adaptation of the longest-running UK comedy series, which premiered in September 2024.
“Every time I return to the highest of seven hills it is an honor. This time is no different,” said Wood Jr. “I can’t wait to get on stage and run my mouth and discuss the things that make us laugh, the things that make us angry, and the things that make us human. I also have a few parking tickets from my undergrad days that I need to finally take care of.”
