About this Event
Join DeKalb County Commissioners Mereda Davis Johnson and LaDena Bolton for a powerful Black History Month Celebration featuring “Young John Lewis,” a dynamic theatrical performance that brings the life and legacy of civil rights icon John Lewis to the stage through storytelling, music, and movement.
This inspiring evening will also include an exclusive conversation with Dr. David Greenberg, acclaimed author of John Lewis: A Life, offering deeper insight into Congressman Lewis’s impact, leadership, and lifelong commitment to justice and equality.
Together, this performance and discussion honor the enduring legacy of John Lewis and invite the community to reflect on the power of courage, service, and “good trouble."
