The City of Lawrence, in partnership with Arts for Lawrence, invites you to join us for the 2025 Black History Month Celebration!
Date: Wednesday, February 26th
Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Arts for Lawrence Theater at the Fort (8920 Otis Ave., Lawrence, IN)
This special event is an opportunity to honor the past while celebrating the future. Through live performances, we’ll highlight the rich contributions of Black history to our culture and community.
The evening will feature:
Inspiring dance and music performances
Thought-provoking poetry
Historical reflections and storytelling
This celebration is a tribute to resilience, creativity, and unity, bringing people together to reflect on history and look forward with hope and pride.
