Dear Griggs Families,In celebration of Black History Month, our students in grades Pre-K through 5th have been learning about influential Americans from diverse backgrounds and the important roles they have played in our nation's history. Each grade level has been working on a variety of
activities and projects to showcase what they've learned throughout the month. To celebrate their hard work, we are excited to host a Famous Americans Parade, and
parents are invited to attend!
Parade Details:
Date: Friday, February 13
Time: 1:00 PM
Location: Around the track
Parking: On the asphalt near the gym and along the fence line of carpool Please do not park in the field.
Parents will meet their child's teacher on the field to sign in. Early dismissals will be handled with your child's teacher. Please let your child's teacher know ahead of time if you plan to take your child after the parade.
Please note that the school office will be closed from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM during the parade.
