Discover a magical world beneath the soil in this beginner-friendly introduction to vermicomposting! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how composting worms transform everyday food scraps into nutrient-rich worm castings—often called “black gold.”
We’ll explore how vermicomposting works, why it’s so beneficial for soil health, and how it can help your plants grow stronger, healthier, and more resilient. Perfect for gardeners, plant lovers, and curious beginners, this session will cover simple ways to enhance your plant and soil health by using worm castings.
You will also learn how to brew “worm tea” at home and explore the differences between worm tea and worm extract.
To help you begin your journey, each attendee will take home a mini bag of worm castings to try in their own plants.
