Black Girls Hike: High Barnet to Cockfosters - London Loop Section 16

Join us for a walk along the London Outer Orbital Path or LOOP, which almost completely encircles Greater London. Nearly 150 miles are split into 24, bite sized walks. This walk will cover Section 16 from High Barnet to Cockfosters. A spectacular short walk featuring Hadley Common, woods and a lake.

Terrain: The route is mostly flat, along good paths.

What to Wear & Bring:

• Supportive walking boots or waterproof shoes

• Weather-appropriate layers (woodland areas can feel cooler)

• Sun protection: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen (if warm weather)

• 1.5–2 litres of water

• Packed lunch and snacks

Toilets: At start of walk and various points along route.

Transport : We recommend arriving by public transport to this hike as we start and finish at diffent locations. The walk starts and ends at a station.

This event will be led by a BGH trained walk leader. Please note that the leader does not hold a Mountain Leader qualification, and participation is therefore at your own discretion and risk.
