Black Girl Hike July 2026
About this Event
Join Queens Village and Touch Grass Yoga for our summer Black Girls Hike Series!
Created with Black women in mind, this series invites us to step away from the noise, slow our pace, and reconnect with ourselves, one another, and the natural world. Together, we'll take unhurried walks, practice mindfulness, share community, and make space for rest, reflection, and pure joy.
Our amazing facilitator, Ambriehl Crutchfield, will lead us through intentional gatherings designed to help us ground ourselves.

Black Girl Hike July
Host: Ambriehl Crutchfield
Info: Our Intentional July Agenda: Unhurried Sensory Walk
The Start: We’ll ground ourselves together with collective breaths and a centering affirmation.
For Kids & Moms: A custom nature scavenger hunt designed to help us notice, engage with, and explore the beautiful world around us.
Being Unhurried: We will explicitly counter the constant pressures to speed up by walking at an intentionally slow pace. While the outside world often demands quick movement, we believe that balance is essential to moving with true focus and intention. Let’s practice resetting our pace and observing our thoughts and feelings.
The End: We'll close our session by sealing our practice with collective breaths and a final affirmation.
