Details:
Join us at The BG and Show Me Your Hobbies for a thrilling weekend of three RC competitions, exclusive prizes, giveaways, and the launch of a brand-new track! During competition times, the course is reserved and no public use is allowed. Daily raffle prizes will be awarded, with over $2,000 worth of items given away throughout the weekend. A Grand Prize prize awarded to the competitor with the lowest combined score across all three classes–a Traxxas Maxx Slash valued at $700!
Rules for each class are listed below.
On Friday, if you spend $100 or more at SMYH before comp, your comp fees will be waived and you can compete in all 3 classes FOR FREE!

Friday:
🎉 Larger raffle prizes than Saturday & Sunday

🚗 Debuting our new Drift Track – Free for all drift cars (plastic tires only, no on-road cars)

• Drift Track access - $20 all-day pass
• Continued comps and raffles, with a prize announcement on Sunday!
Comp Details & Pricing:
• $25 per class sign-up | $15 for additional class/truck entry
• Each comp entry includes a raffle ticket (up to 3 per person over the weekend)
• 6x6 Comp: Want to compete but don’t have a 6x6? Rentals are available for $25, which covers the comp entry and includes an SMYH/BG truck!
Note: Responsible use is required. Drivers may be held liable for damage caused by misuse.

• Each comp entry includes a raffle ticket for that day’s prizes (up to 3 tickets per person for the weekend). Prizes will be awarded daily – if you’re not present, we’ll contact you!

🏆 Traxxas Maxx Slash – valued at $700 – awarded to the lowest combined score across all 3 classes!
Class Rules:
Class 2 AND 6x6:
• 10 progress gates. Plus start and finish gates (gates are 12” wide) that do count as 10 points if they are struck.
• 8 minute time period allowed for all 3 courses
• Tires must be under 4.85” and 2.2” max on wheel size (tires can be siped, grooved or trimmed)
• Full body must be run. No cab only trucks. Flat beds are allowed (Bed must as wide as cab and as long as frame rails)
• Dovetails are allowed (must be ½” from widest part of cab)
• Rail chassis only (No tube frames)
• Must have a front bumper. Can be mounted on a truck or molded into the body but must be wider than the frame rails.
• Rear bumpers are NOT required.
Rules for Mini Class 2:
• Body:
- Bodies can be constructed from any material (lexan, ABS, 3D printed, etc).
- No cab-only configurations are allowed.
- Must have a bed as long as frame rails.
• Chassis:
- Must use a chassis that consists of two vertical rails or c-channels with a similar configuration as the stock chassis; no tube chassis are allowed.
- Must use a zero-degree skid plate; angled skid plates are not permitted.
- Chassis rails must extend past the centerline of both front and rear axles.
• Bumpers:
- All vehicles must run a front bumper that is wider than the frame rails; rear bumpers are not required.
• Motors:
- Brushed or brushless motors are allowed.
- Single motor only.
Battery:
- Any lipo battery up to 3S.
• Electronics:
- No electronic limitations.
• Wheels:
- Any wheel with a maximum diameter of 1.3 inches.
- One-piece wheels or bead locks are allowed.
• Tires:
- Tire tread may be trimmed or removed; tires may be vented.
- Maximum tire outside diameter: 66mm
• Drivetrain:
- Full-time 4WD only.
- No 6x6 or dual setups.
- Front-wheel steering only; vehicles with 4-wheel steering may compete, as long as the rear steer is not used during the run. The use of a rear steer will result in disqualification.
• Additional Details:
- Gate width is 7 inches.
- 8-minute run time per course, with a total of 3 courses.
Rules for Mini Class 3:
• Body:
- No requirements.
• Chassis:
- No requirements.
• Bumpers:
- No requirements.
• Motors:
- Brushed or brushless motors are allowed.
- Single motor only.
Battery:
- Any lipo battery up to 3S.
• Electronics:
- No electronic limitations.
• Wheels:
- No requirements, as long as they are fit for your 1/18th scale or 1/24th scale crawler.
• Tires:
- Any tire (must be fit to your 1/18th scale or 1/24th scale crawler - no 1/10th scale tires or bigger allowed).
• Drivetrain:
- Dig or 4WS permitted, but not both.
• Suspension:
- No limitations.
• Additional Details:
- Gate width is 7 inches.
- 8-minute run time per course, with a total of 3 courses.
