Zeke is being matched with a male, golden retriever by Hope Service Dogs, Inc. and has already put down a deposit to lock in their spot with the organization. Zeke's dog will be trained in medical alert and response for their POTS and NMS, to let Zeke know before Zeke faints, so Zeke and the dog can work together to prevent fainting or get somewhere safe before it happens. The dog will also be trained in grounding for Zeke's autism and PTSD, which will allow them to access their immediate neighborhood more safely and independently, and he will be trained in mobility tasks, as Zeke is in a wheelchair.
