The Black Frederick Festival is BACK!BlackFrederick.com is thrilled to announce its 2nd annual Black Frederick Festival (BFF), scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Carroll Creek in historic downtown Frederick, MD. This vibrant celebration aims to honor our rich heritage and profound contributions while fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the historical and cultural legacy of Black people.
This year, the BFF will host a wide array of activities suitable for all ages. Attendees of this family-friendly event can look forward to live performances from musicians and artists, and a car show.
In addition to entertainment, the festival will feature a marketplace with vendors selling culturally relevant crafts, books, clothing, and foods.
