What does fatherhood look like through the eyes of our children?
Join us for the third installment of the Black Fatherhood: Manhood to Fatherhood Discussion Series, an inspiring evening of honest conversation, reflection, and connection between Black fathers and their children.
Building on our previous discussions about fatherhood, self-love, and self-care, this installment takes a unique approach by bringing four fathers and their children together as panelists to share their experiences, perspectives, challenges, and lessons learned along the journey of fatherhood.
For the first time in our series, we will hear directly from children about the influence their fathers have had on their lives, what they value most in their relationships, and how fathers can continue to strengthen the bonds they share with their children
Together, we will explore the importance of communication, emotional connection, accountability, presence, and the lasting legacy fathers create through their everyday actions.
A Collaborative Community Initiative
Presented in collaboration with:
Norfolk Plymouth County Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Eta Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
