TLPC’s 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration - Resilience
Hop aboard a trolley for a 90-minute tour through New Rochelle's Black History, as City Historian Barbara Davis reveals stories and locations of where Black New Rochellleans lived, worked and worshipped. The route includes: the earliest African American neighborhood, Pugsley Hollow; the sites of the first Black churches; the beautiful Rochelle Park and Rochelle Heights; and the historic Lincoln Avenue Corridor.
The Trolley Tours embark from in front of New Rochelle City Hall, 515 North Avenue promptly at 11:00 am and again at 12:30 pm, and returns to the same location. Parking is available in the City Hall parking lot, behind the building. Seating is limited on the Trolley, please reserve your space. Appropriate for ages 12 and up. Donations to TLPC are welcome at: www.tlpcinc.org
