When a fuse blows in a London flat, a desperate young sculptor and his fiancée find themselves plunged into darkness just as they're about to meet a wealthy collector and the fiancée's disapproving father.
In Peter Shaffer's hilarious farce, the stage is lit for the audience when the characters are in darkness, and in darkness when they are in the light.
