This year, we’re thrilled to continue our impact by Empowering Black Joy in Pregnancy and Parenting through dynamic, community focused events that honor our past, meet today’s needs, and cultivate a healthier tomorrow for Black women and birthing people in Central Florida!

Founded by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Black Maternal Health Week (BMHW), observed every April 11-17, is a national campaign that amplifies the voices, experiences, and advocacy of Black birthing people. It highlights the need for improved Black maternal health outcomes and systemic change while celebrating the resilience and strength of Black families.

🔹 Meet & Connect – Engage in fast-paced, one-on-one conversations with trusted birthworkers, including midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, childbirth educators, and 4th trimester experts.
🔹 Build Your Village – Find the right provider for your journey and connect with others seeking support in pregnancy, birth, and parenting.
🔹 Centering Black Voices – This event is intentionally designed to uplift Black, Afro-Indigenous, Afro-Latinx, and Black-multiracial families while connecting them to culturally competent care and resources.
