Since our very first anniversary we have celebrated with a party that includes an auction, and we aren’t about to stop!
Sell Your Stuff as Lots: Do you have some old stuff that you no longer want, but that might be perfect with a new home? Well, you can submit lots to the auction too! Bring your lots in between July 1st and July 5th, and we will prepare them for the auction. Lots should be pre-bundled, in a box or container appropriate for viewing and that contains them. You set the starting bid amount, but please note that if that amount is met the sale will be final. When your lot sells you will get back 90% of the sale price in Black Knight Games store credit!
The auction is split in two portions: the Silent Auction and the Live auction.
Silent Auction: At 1:00pm we begin the silent part of the auction. Every lot is set out along tables with a bidding sheet that lists the lot, the lot number, starting bid, etc. Participants can bid on lots during a one hour window. Any lot with at least two bids on it will go to the Live Auction portion. Single bid lots will sell to the one bidder, and lots with no interest will be returned to their owner. We reserve the right to add items to the Live Auction if we believe that people just missed it, or misunderstood the contents.
Live Auction: At 2:00pm the Silent Auction ends, and we collect and reorganize the lots to begin the Live Auction. At approximately 2:15 we will resume where the bidding left off for items that have competition, going until a single bidder is victorious.
