Members and supporters of the Kura of jiu jitsu Ōtepoti are invited to attend the Term 2 grading day. this doubles as a break for the holidays so let's celebrate our students' achievements in term two together as a team on Saturday afternoon 6th July
each age groups exam and graduation ceremony will begin at the following times:
Littles at 12:30pm
Middles at 1:30pm
Juniors, Teens, and Juveniles at 2:30pm
Adults at 4:00pm.
Students try our best to Qualify and achieve a promotion by passing the exam! which will be followed by a short game time and photos invite your Parents, friends and family are to attend and celebrate your achievements with you.
The grading will test your ability to demonstrate what you have learnt this Term. We will practice the exam in review sessions during the week.
The grading fee is $25. You can pay this online or in cash on the day, please see admin for details.
To qualify to pass the grading and be promoted, you must show good discipline and understanding of the techniques taught in Term classes. demonstrate the techniques asked of you, answer the questions demonstration your knowledge of the names of reasons or strategies behind the techniques. you will have the opportunity to Achieve, or receive a Merit, or Excellence please remember the requirement for promotion here in the school is technical performance and knowledge based, please wear a correct school uniform and present your signed attendance card to show that you have paid your fees, attended at least once a week (unless excused), and that you have attended the term sports day.
