Get ready to run, slurp, and sip at the 2nd Annual Bivalves and Brews 5K! This isn't your average 5K—at each mile marker, daring participants have the option to chug a brew and swallow an oyster, making for a race that’s as entertaining as it is questionable (depending on your taste buds). Whether you’re in it for the speed, the spectacle, or just the shellfish, this is one run you won’t forget.Event Details
When: Sunday, June 7th, 2025
Where: Arcata Marsh, starts in the I Street parking lot
Registration: 8:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Race Start Time: 10:00 a.m.
Cost: $40 with a shirt
$20 without a shirt
Parking is limited at the boat ramp parking area, so plan to park on I St and walk in if possible, or park on South G and walk over.
Those who want to imbibe in the brews will receive a special wristband at the event when you check in at registration. The event is all ages!
