Join us this June for an important Bite Size Conversation featuring our local EMS team.
Following the completion of our recent ambulance fundraising pull, we want to continue the conversation around emergency medical services, rural healthcare, and the incredible professionals who serve our communities every day.
During this session, our EMS team will discuss:
-The current state of EMS in rural communities
-Challenges facing rural emergency response services
-Why our region is fortunate to have a strong ratio of highly trained EMS professionals
-The importance of community support for ambulance services
Attendees will also experience a live demonstration of what happens during a cardiac arrest emergency, including the use of the LUCAS Chest Compression System, a mechanical CPR device that helps deliver consistent, high-quality compressions during lifesaving efforts.
This engaging and educational conversation offers a behind-the-scenes look at emergency response and the critical role EMS plays in rural healthcare.
