Bit Sketchi - Bendigo Brewing

Join us for a fun-filled session of sketching while we gather together at Bendigo Brewing. Your ticket includes a beer, wine or soft drink and you can enter your sketch in the ‘People’s Choice Award’ for a chance to win a $50 Bendigo Brewing voucher!
Let your creativity flow as you sketch your surroundings in a quick and quirky style. You could sketch a corner of the brewery, your delicious meal of a wood fired pizza or burger & fries, your beer or wine, or maybe drawing people is more your style.
This event is for any skill level, and it’s certainly not a serious class! Don’t worry if you haven’t sketched before, this could be the perfect opportunity to try! This is about learning how to sketch quickly with character and applying a wash of colour to bring your sketch to life. Serious sketchers are, of course, also very welcome!
You will be provided with all necessary materials, just bring yourself! Your sketching kit contains, paper, pencils, markers and watercolour paints.
If someone is joining you that isn’t sketching, or you want to bring your kids, please do! You can book a seat for them, and kids receive a free creative kit to entertain them.

Hey everyone! I’m Kim Lowe of 2inspire and I am passionate about bringing people together through art for happier, healthier communities.
I am an artist with a studio in Valentine’s Antiques Gallery and I also run two Art for Wellbeing classes each Monday in Kangaroo Flat.
My other passion is sketching historic buildings and iconic landmarks, particularly in Central Victoria. No line is straight, buildings are a little quirky, a Bit Sketchi and full of character.
I can’t wait to share my love of sketching with you and build up a Bit Sketchi community to meet regularly after this event.
