Pascal Van Den Dool
Is a 24-year-old Dutch jazz pianist. He started at a young age playing classical music and pop music, and always played in various bands around his home town Papendrecht. When entering the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague for a bachelor in music teaching, he shifted focus to studying jazz music. At this point he is finishing a master there.
He has had his private lessons from Sebastiaan van Bavel and Juraj Stanik. From this time he has been playing in diverse settings including jazz duo and bigger ensembles and is also active as piano teacher.
Bettina Banki
Bettina Bánki was born in Budapest, Hungary, but at the moment she’s been doing her BA jazz vocal studies at the Royal Conservatoire. She has strong roots from her tradition, to which she connects strongly in her musical path also when sings jazz. Whether a song is about a crazy love story or just a sad melody, she loves to put emphasis on the story telling, that’s what we can see in her choice of repertoire that she sings. �People may find it interesting to see a duo of a singer and a vibraphone player. Bettina got to know Demetrio Schintu in the Conservatoire because of a project organized by school, since then they have been thinking of working and trying out possibilities together.
