Birth Prep 101

This class is designed to be taken in addition to (or replacing) your hospital-based birth prep class. You will learn the stages of labor and comfort measures for each stage, how to write a birth plan, common medical interventions used in birth, labor/pushing positions, strategies for advocating within the medical system, and tips for birth partners to best support the birthing person. This course is designed to be taken with your birthing partner, if you choose.

Classes are held at the Doulas of San Diego office at 17190 Bernardo Center Drive Suite 200, San Diego, CA, 92128
