This one day condensed course will cover:

• Birth settings, preparing for birth, discuss breathing and relaxation and signposting where to access and ideas for supporters
• Physiology of labour and birth, coping mechanisms, positions that may help, when to leave home and how to travel
• Deviations from the usual physiology, induction of labour both medical and natural, instrumental deliveries and choices for pain relief should it be required
• what to expect in the postnatal period, care and recovery, care of your newborn including safe sleeping recommendations
• We love questions and are happy to answer them when they are asked.
